繼時裝名牌 Jil Sander推智能手機後， Prada亦與 LG合作推出 Android智能手機 Prada phone by LG 3.0。貫徹 Prada風格，線條簡潔，手機介面為黑白灰圖案，機背採用 Saffiano圖案，機身僅 8.5毫米。

採用 Android系統

手機採用 Android Gingerbread OS版本，用家可升級至 Android Ice Cream Sandwich，在 Android Marketplace選用更多 Apps。

Prada Phone選用 LG的 4.3吋 nova高光亮度屏幕，光度達 800nit，就算烈日當空睇片，畫面一樣清晰。配合 800萬像素相機，有 8GB記憶體。 Prada特別設計一系列手機配件，手機 1月中在港發售，粉絲可提前一周預訂，暫未定價。

LG Optimus Sol (LG E730)

Enjoy bother less SUNNY days with LG Company’s Optimus Sol E730 mobile phone, as this is the first phone that enables the users to view content even in direct and bright sunlight. In Spanish language, Sol means the sun. This name is given to the phone in order to highlight the unique feature of the Ultra AMOLED touchscreen display. Pictures and videos are displayed well on WVGA ultra AMOLED touch screen of a 3.8-inch that is bigger than the iPhone 4. The ultra AMOLED technology increases image quality with its double advanced reflection rate as compared to normal AMOLED displays. The Optimus Sol smartphone is the perfect one for those people who frequently need to use it outdoors.

Power management system is the prime attraction of the phone, which saves power up to 20 to 30 percent. This improved system cuts down the battery consumption of the device and saves battery power by selecting the Dark User Interface that uses less white light. Optimus Sol also sports a 5 megapixel camera with auto-focusing and auto-shuttering.

After the Optimus Net and Optimus Pro C660, LG has announced its third smartphone that runs on popular Android mobile operating system of 2.3.3 Gingerbread version which is skinned with LG’s custom user interface. The version is advertized as the “digital wallet” version that is set up to hold NFC payments. This 2.3 version has a distinctive web browser that can make Adobe flash files for a rich internet surfing experience.

LG launches world's first and fastest dual-core smartphone

SEOUL, Dec. 16, 2010 -- LG Electronics (LG) today unveiled the LG Optimus 2X, the world’s first smartphone with a dual-core processor. Along with more powerful multimedia features, the LG Optimus 2X’s high-performance Tegra 2 processor makes for faster, smoother web browsing and applications and lets users multitask with virtually no screen lag.

“Dual-core technology is the next leap forward in mobile technology so this is no small achievement to be the first to offer a smartphone utilizing this technology,” said Dr. Jong-seok Park, CEO and President of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company. “With unique features such as HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) mirroring and exceptional graphics performance, the LG Optimus 2X is proof of LG’s commitment to high-end smartphones in 2011.”

Developed by graphics processor powerhouse NVIDIA®, the dual-core Tegra 2 system-on-a-chip found in the LG Optimus 2X runs at a clock speed of 1GHz and boasts low power consumption and high performance for playing video and audio. Users will experience faster web browsing and smoother gameplay compared with single-core processors running at the same speed as well as instantaneous touch response and seamless multitasking between applications.

The LG Optimus 2X offers 1080p HD video playback and recording with HDMI mirroring that expands content on external displays to full HD quality. LG introduces next generation smartphone design and display with LG Optimus Black

LAS VEGAS, Jan. 5, 2011 – LG Electronics (LG) announced today it will unveil a new Android smartphone, LG Optimus Black, at the 2011 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) from January 6th in Las Vegas. Providing users with a dramatically brighter 4-inch NOVA display in the world’s slimmest 9.2 mm mobile device, LG Optimus Black creates a one-of-a-kind user experience unlike anything before.

Available for the first time in the mobile market, LG Optimus Black’s NOVA display is designed to be the brightest, clearest and most readable among mobile screens with 700 nits  of brightness for optimal visibility. LG Optimus Black provides users with an easier and more natural experience when browsing the web, reading emails, or writing documents with higher levels of brightness and pure white tones that deliver true black and white colors for ideal handset viewing. NOVA technology featured on LG Optimus Black also enables users to maintain visibility whether indoors or outdoors under strong sunlight.

In addition to greater luminosity, the NOVA display on LG Optimus Black also radically reduces power consumption by 50 percent during general indoor use compared to a conventional LCD. Similarly, AMOLED consumes twice as much power as NOVA to display a full white screen, the most frequently used color scheme for web browsing. Combined with the 1500 mAh battery of the LG Optimus Black, users will have enough power for their daily needs, even at maximum brightness settings.
